Accessibility Statement
WP Comply Pro can generate an Accessibility Statement page for your website. This statement:
- Declares your commitment to accessibility
- Lists the standard you follow (WCAG 2.1 Level AA)
- Describes known limitations
- Provides contact information for accessibility issues
- Is automatically updated when you run new scans
To generate: Go to WP Comply → Reports → Accessibility Statement → Generate.
The statement is created as a WordPress page that you can customize and publish.
Using reports for legal compliance
Reports from WP Comply Pro can demonstrate:
- Awareness: You identified accessibility issues
- Action: You took steps to fix them
- Documentation: You maintained records of remediation
- Good faith: You invested in ongoing compliance
While no automated tool can guarantee full WCAG compliance, demonstrating documented remediation efforts is a strong defense in accessibility-related legal proceedings.
